For the price an excellent long distance cruiser. Draws a little more than I would like, limits some anchorages found in atolls, but a nice boat. I would add a watermaker and AIS transponder. If the funds were there also install solar panel and a wind generator

The LeComte Fastnet 45 was certainly built for blue-water adventures.  Lightheart has proven to be a blue-water cruiser as demonstrated by her sailing history to Mexico and Australia/New Zealand. She is very well equipped to resume enjoyable safe journeys with her new owners. She offers as well laid-out floor plan with a large aft cabin found in most Center Cockpit boats (this not being a center cockpit boat)  I really like the privacy afforded by the forward v-berth area and the aft cabin for long sailing legs in open sea. When you are looking for comfort, safety and affordability this is a well-regarded and proven boat.

Accommodations
The Fastnet 45 is ideal for two cruising couples.  She offers a forward stateroom that features a large v-berth with filler, a larger hanging locker and drawers.  Just aft of this is the forward head with shower, sink and ample storage.

Aft of the forward head is the main salon.  Here, you'll find a large u-shape table to port, a settee opposite to starboard.  The generous salon spans the full beam of the vessel thanks to the flush deck design.

Aft of the Salon is a large u-shape galley that offers top loading refrigeration, three burner stove, storage and double s/s sink.

The Large aft Owners stateroom is entered to port of the companionway.  It features a private head and shower, a double berth to port, a single berth to starboard, 6'3' Headroom, hanging locker and drawers.
